Japan: Manganese ore imports down by 4% m-o-m in June

Japan’s manganese ore imports decreased by 4% m-o-m to 83,699 t in Jun’22 from 86,841 t in May’22, as per customs data maintained with SteelMint.
South Africa and Gabon were the major exporters at 74,089 t and 9,610 t respectively.
In Jan-Jun’22, manganese ore imports totalled 502,801 t, up by 13% y-o-y.
