Eramet’s manganese ore production rises 17%, y-o-y, in H1CY22

Central Africa-based Eramet, world’s second largest producer of high-grade manganese ore, recorded a 17% y-o-y growth in production at around 3.62 mnt in H1CY22. Mine expansion programs in Gabon along with continuous operational improvements resulted in an increase in manganese ore output. The company’s manganese alloys production stood at 0.38 mnt in H1, up 4% y-o-y.
