India: Hindalco, Balco cut aluminium ingots prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($44/t)

Hindalco and Balco have decreased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 3,500/t ($44/t) today.
Hindalco’s effective price is INR 223,250/t ($2,880/t) while Balco’s price stands at INR 223,750/t ($2,807/t) exw.
The closing price for LME three-month aluminium futures stood at $2,422/t on 27 July, stable d-o-d while cash prices decreased by $47/t to $2,390/t.
