Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan continue to remain stable for the sixth consecutive day at RMB 3,550/t ($526/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 27 July. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 3,916/t ($580/t), witnessing a marginal increase of RMB 28/t ($4/t), d-o-d.
