Raipur sponge iron prices rise further, over 8,000 t deals concluded

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) in Raipur rose by INR 600/t to INR 34,200/t exw.
8,300 t of FeM 78-80% P-DRI deals were concluded at INR 33,800-34,300/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis, of which around 5,000 t were sold by Odisha-based plants while the remainder was sold by Raipur-based plants.
Prices remained on the higher side on active finished steel sales and rising steel prices across regions.
