India: Over 9,000 t sponge iron deals concluded in Bellary, Karnataka

Pellet-based sponge iron (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary inched up by INR 50/t, while lumps-based CDRI prices increased by INR 200/t on 27 July.

• PDRI deals of 4,700 t were concluded at INR 34,000-34,200/t exw against offer at INR 34,200/t exw.
• CDRI prices stand at INR 34,850/t exw around 4,900 t deals were concluded today.
• Strong demand and healthy bookings extended support to sponge iron prices.
