Australia: South 32 posts 3% rise in coking coal output in June quarter

Major miner South 32, an Australian mining firm, registered 1.38 mnt of coking coal production in June quarter, an increase of 3% q-o-q. However, due to heavy rains and workforce shortage due to Covid restrictions, total coal (coking coal and thermal coal) production fell by 8% q-o-q in the period under review.
