China: Raw iron ore production rises 9%, y-o-y, in June

China, the world’s largest consumer and importer of iron ore, has recorded run of mine (ROM) iron ore production at 98.71 mnt in Jun’22, up 9% y-o-y, according to data by the National Bureau of Statistics. In the Jan-Jun’22 period, the Middle Kingdom’s run of mine (ROM) iron ore output was recorded at 501.21 mnt, a decrease of 3% y-o-y.
