China: Ferro chrome imports down by 18% m-o-m in Jun’22

China’s ferro chrome imports declined by 18% m-o-m to 130,081 t in Jun’22 against 158,441 t in May’22.
Imports decreased because of the instability in downstream stainless steel market owing to weak demand.
South Africa, Kazakhstan, India, and Zimbabwe were among the major exporters in Jun’22.
Total imports in Jan-Jun’22 stood at 994,090 t, down by 37% y-o-y.
