China: Long steel output falls y-o-y in June

China’s long steel production fell y-o-y in Jun’22, as per National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

• Rebar production dropped 19.3% y-o-y to 20.06 mnt.
• Wire rod output decreased by 7.8% y-o-y to 13.05 mnt.

In H1CY22, rebar production declined by 14.1% y-o-y to 117.69 mnt and wire rod output fell by 13.8% y-o-y to 71.38 mnt.
