India: Over 15,000 t of sponge iron sold to Nepal, Bangladesh

Five rakes (12,500 t) of sponge iron were sold at $460-465/t LTW eastern India, equivalent to $480-485/t CPT Nepal (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%).
Also, one rake (2,500 t) of premium grade (FeM 81-82%) sponge iron deal was confirmed at $475/t LTW from Odisha belt, equivalent to $495/t CPT Nepal.
About 2,000-3,000 t of sponge iron was sold to Bangladesh recently. Current offers stand at $410-415/t CPT Benapole.
