India: Hindalco, Balco hike aluminium ingots prices by INR 4,000/t

Hindalco and Balco have increased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 4,000/t ($50/t) today.
Hindalco’s effective price is INR 229,250/t ($2,868/t), while Balco’s price stands at INR 229,500/t ($2,870/t) exw.
The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,430/t on 20 Jul’22 while cash prices increased by $44/t to $2,456/t.
