SER iron ore loading recorded 8.87% growth in Apr-Feb 2013

Southeastern Railway (SER) set a record of loading 5.91% more (6.32 million tons) of material than Railway Board's set target.

The SER registered an increase in freight loading in April 2012 to February 2013 by 6.12% to 113.26 million tons, which was 106.73 mt during the same period in 2012.

For carrying of its most important commodity-iron ore, it recorded a 8.87% growth as 61.50 mt of the raw material was carried by SER in April 2012 to February 2013 against 56.49 in the same period in 2012.

For carrying of Pig iron, coal ad finished material also, SER recorded a growth.

In the first eleven months of current financial year, it earned 10.44% more to 7855.45 crore than 7113.09 crore in the similar period in 2012.
