China’s domestic HRC, CRC prices fall by around $20/t on declining futures

China’s HRC and CRC prices fell sharply today following a sharp decline in HRC futures. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct delivery settled today at RMB 3,673/t ($544/t), falling by $184/t d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm,Q235 B): RMB 3,610/t ($534/t), down by RMB 200/t ($30/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,155/t ($615/t), down by RMB 170/t ($25/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
