Taiwan: Steel billet imports inch up by 5%, m-o-m, in June

Taiwan’s steel billet imports increased marginally by 5.49% m-o-m in Jun’22 to 0.28 mnt from 0.27 mnt in May, as per customs data.
Japan was the largest exporter at 0.10 mnt, followed by Russia at 0.05 mnt.
However, import volumes fell by 4% to 1.96 mnt on year in Jan-Jun’22 as against 2.05 mnt in the year-ago period.
