China’s domestic HRC, CRC prices fall on declining futures

China’s HRC and CRC prices fell today amid falling futures and weak demand because of adverse weather conditions in several parts of the country. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct delivery settled today at RMB 3,857/t ($571/t), falling by $7/t d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (Q235 B): RMB 3,810/t ($564/t), down by RMB 100/t ($15/t)
• CRC (Q195-215A): RMB 4,325/t ($640/t), down by RMB 30/t ($4/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
