HR strip (patra) prices rose by INR 200/t ($3/t) in both Mandi Gobindgarh and Raipur markets on 12 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are assessed at INR 56,700/t ($713/t) exw-Mandi and INR 55,000/t ($691/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
