According to Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), coking coal prices may fall further up to $200/t as global steel prices continue to fall, leading to lower raw material restocking by manufacturers as they await steel margins to recover. Australia premium hard coking coal prices stood at $258/t FOB on 8 Jul’22, down by $123/t m-o-m basis.
