Russia aims to raise its global coal export share to 25% by 2050

Russia is targeting to rise its share of global coal exports to 25% from 18% by 2050, news agency TASS reported, citing Peter Bobylev, the head of Coal Industry Department of the Russian energy ministry. Despite the sanctions, the country aims to maintain its position as one of the top three exporters of the world as it continues to develop alternate markets after Europe.
