HR strip (patra) prices fell by INR 500/t ($6/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh whereas prices inched up by INR 100/t ($1/t) in Raipur on 6 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 53,500/t ($676/t) exw-Mandi and INR 53,200/t ($672/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
