HR strip (patra) prices rose by INR 200/t ($3/t) d-o-d in Raipur while prices remained stable in Mandi Gobindgarh on 5 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 53,100/t ($669/t) exw-Raipur and INR 54,000/t ($681/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%.
