In Indian domestic market, prices of Billet have not witnessed any fluctuation today, other than eastern part of the country.
“Sales of Billet has come down in Durgapur and Kolkata (West Bengal) region.
Takers of Billet have limited new purchases.
Hence, we had to lower prices by Rs 300/MT and are offering it in the range of Rs 33,800-900/MT (including ED and taxes).
It was heard that some quantity of Billet had been exported to Nepal in the current week”, remarked a manufacturer based in Durgapur.
