Prices of 6900 kcal/kg NAR US-origin coal were assessed at INR 22,000/t at Tuna Port as traders preferred to offload old stocks ahead of monsoon. Cement players continued to conclude small parcel trades as they tend to cut down procurement during monsoon. Stocks at Kandla continued to remain nil as a total of 240,000 t of US coal is set to arrive in the coming week, CoalMint data showed.
