Indonesian mid-CV thermal coal prices rose slightly by $3/t this week, while low- and high-CV coal prices remained largely unchanged. While inquiries from China continue to remain sluggish, Indian interest remained firm with the onset of monsoon. Despite strong demand from Europe, supply constraints due to heavy rains in Indonesia are affecting shipments to the region.
