China’s crude steel production declines in mid-June – CISA

The average daily output of crude steel at Chinese steel mills in mid-Jun’22 stood 2.25 mnt, an increase of 1.50% m-o-m. However, output decreased by 3.51% y-o-y, as per China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) data. The average daily output of pig iron in key steel enterprises in mid-Jun was 2.02 mnt, down 1.12% m-o-m and 1.78% y-o-y.
