Moderate buying interest persists in central India’s rebar market

Demand for induction furnace rebar remained average in central India’s Raipur market, with price improvements of INR 200/t d-o-d. Around 2,000 t of transactions were recorded by SteelMint on 22 Jun’22. Prices in other markets either remained unchanged or supported on the back of semi-finished steel demand in the spot market, SteelMint notes.
