Brazil: Pellet exports increase by over 15% on month in May

Brazil’s pellets exports were recorded at 2.15 mnt in May’22, an increase of 16% m-o-m as against 1.85 mnt in Apr, according to vessel line-up data with SteelMint. On a yearly basis, pellet exports increased by 52% compared to 1.41 mnt. Total export volumes were at 7.87 mnt in Jan-May, an increase of 18% y-o-y.
