India: Central Railways’ revenue earnings through scrap auctions rise 5-fold on year in April-May

The Central Railways has grossed the highest revenues through scrap auctions during Apr-May’22 compared to the corresponding period of last year. It earned INR 57.29 crore, which is 522.04% higher compared to INR 9.21 crore in the year-ago period. Further, in FY’22, Central Railways’ revenue generation through scrap auctions stood at INR 530.34 crore.
