India: Vedanta lowers pig iron offers further by INR 1,500/t ($20)

Vedanta Resources, a leading domestic pig iron manufacturer based in western India, reduced prices for Gujarat- and Maharashtra-based buyers.
Current offers for foundry grade pig iron are at around INR 59,500/t delivered (DAP) to Ahmedabad and Kolhapur.
Decline in export realisations and falling domestic steel and pig iron prices led to the drop in offers.
