SAIL held an auction for 6,000 t (three rakes) of steel grade pig iron on 1 June 2022 from the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL). Out of the offered quantity, buyers booked two rakes ( 4,000 t) at a weighted average price of INR 42,750/t exw. At SAIL’s previous auction on 25 May, around 2,000 t of pig iron was booked at INR 45,250/t exw.
