Chile: Copper production falls over 9.5% y-o-y in April

World’s largest copper producer Chile registered a fall of 9.8% in the mine production in April 2022, according to data released by the Chile’s National Institute of Statistics (INE). The country’s copper production stood at 421,742 t in April as against 467,600 t in the same month in 2021. The decrease in production was due to lower domestic mining activities.
