Thailand: Ferrous scrap imports drop 4%, m-o-m, in April

Thailand’s ferrous scrap imports inched down to 146,000 t in Apr’22 from 152,000 t in Mar, as per customs data.
Myanmar continued to be the top exporter at 23,190 t, followed by Australia and Japan at 13,483 t and 11,392 t, respectively.
However, on a y-o-y basis, scrap imports increased by 28% from 114,600 t in Apr’21.
