Pellet-based sponge iron (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary slipped INR 200/t d-o-d, while iron ore-based CDRI prices fell by INR 250/t on 31 May’22.
- Around 1,000 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 31,800-32,000/t exw.
- CDRI prices are at INR 32,550/t exw and 1,600 t of deals were reported today.
- The sponge iron market drifted downwards due to low buying as sufficient trades were witnessed yesterday.
