China: Iron ore spot prices rise on demand for medium-grade fines

The spot price of iron ore in China rebounded on 25 May’22 as the buying of medium-grade fines continued. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices increased by $2.90/t to $133.40/t CFR China. According to sources, portside liquidity was low as most buyers and sellers adopted a wait-and-see approach due to price volatility.
