India: Blooms fetch Bids at USD 510/MT FOB Vizag

New Delhi,

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), a state owned manufacturer, has floated a tender for export sale of 1,00,000 MT Blooms and 40,000 MT Billets in Sep’14. They’ve have fetch a bid of around USD 510/MT for Blooms and USD 521/MT for Billets, on FOB Vizag basis.

Industry sources highlighted that Billets were sold to Sri Lanka and Blooms exported to Bangladesh.

Indian exports of semi finish, which included Billet, Blooms and Slabs, in September 2014 was at around 1,40,000 MT according to customs data.

RINL has floated another tender of 60,000 MT Blooms and 20,000 MT Billets of grade IS 2830, C20 MMn for export sales, to be delivered till 10 Dec, 2014.
