Induction furnace rebar prices fell across regions in India. The sudden decline in raw material prices owing to the government’s decision of imposing export duty on iron ore and steel has weakened market sentiments. The lack of deals and transactions seen in the market today prompted rebar manufacturers in few market not open their offers and traders are now waiting for the market to stablise.
