Singareni Collieries Company Ltd. (SCCL) recorded high bid prices in its coal auction held after a month’s gap. Buyers were seen actively procuring the limited material offered. A few lots of G7 and G8 material fetched bids over INR 10,000/t. The offered grades were sold in the range of INR 2,672-4,888/t above the reserve price. Overall, bid premiums were 99% higher than the reserve price which was at 58% in Mar.
