After sharp fall in the last few weeks, domestic 5500 kcal/kg NAR grade coal prices in China rose to RMB 1270/t ($187/t), up by 18% w-o-w. The prices rose as demand from the industrial sector resurfaced with the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions. Futures prices at Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange also rose to RMB 843/t, ($124/t), up by $25/t since the beginning of this week.
