- South Korea’s iron ore imports (including pellets) fell by 34.93% m-o-m in April 2022 to 4.09 mnt from 6.29 mnt last month, as per data released by customs.
- Australia was the largest exporter with 2.89 mnt, followed by Brazil and South Africa with 0.45 mnt and 0.44 mnt, respectively.
- Moreover, import volumes fell by 15% y-o-y to 21.51 mnt in January-April 2022 against 25.28 mnt y-o-y.
