In Gujarat’s Alang market shipbreaking melting scrap prices remain stable today, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 46,000/t exy. Scrap prices remain stable despite lack of trades in semis and finished steel during the last trading session but suppliers have limited stocks available in their yards and have thus kept prices unchanged except minor correction in few sizes of rolling plates.
