Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan fell by RMB 60/t ($9/t) on 10 May 2022. Prices stood at RMB 4,620/t ($687/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for October 2022 delivery was closed today at RMB 4,607/t ($685/t), witnessing a significant fall of RMB 47/t ($7/t), d-o-d.
