USA: Steel billets imports stable, m-o-m, in Mar’22

USA’s steel billets imports remained stable at 0.30 mnt in March 2022, as per data recently released by customs.
Brazil was the largest exporter with 0.20 mnt, followed by Mexico with 0.08 mnt.
However, import volumes fell marginally by 3% y-o-y to 1.09 mnt in January-March 2022 as against 1.13 mnt in January -March 2021.
