Comilog, the world’s largest manganese ore miner, has cut offers for Gabonese lumps (Mn 44%) by $0.40/dmtu to $7.2/dmtu on a CIF China basis for Jun’22. Meanwhile, Tshipi reduced South African lumps (36.5% Mn) offers by $0.3/dmtu to $5/dmtu CIF China. The drop in prices is a result of high inventory at Chinese ports and miners want to maintain parity with offers announced by South32.
