South Africa: Iron ore export shipments rise by over 10%, m-o-m, in April

South Africa’s iron ore export shipments rose by 12.78% in Apr’22 to 4.72 mnt compared with 4.19 mnt in Mar, SteelMint’s vessel line up data shows.
Exports to China were recorded at 1.85 mnt, a fall of 17% m-o-m.
Meanwhile, shipments to The Netherlands surged 158% on month to 1.47 mnt followed by South Korea at 0.35 mnt.
