Kudremukh Iron ore Company Limited (KIOCL), a state owned and India's largest manufacturer and exporter of iron ore pellet, based in Mangalore (Karnataka) received good response for its Pellet tender.
The company offered 2,000 MT of dry Iron ore Pellet through an e-tender to buyers interested to procure pellet.
The tender fetched high bids at INR 7,550/MT, which is almost equal to prices standing at Rs 7,600/MT (ex works) at which KIOCL is offering Pellet in domestic market for April.
Tender prices quoted are on FOT (Free on Truck), Pellet plant unit, Mangalore port, exclusive of all taxes, duties and levies.
Sponge iron manufacturers located in the state of Tamil Nadu, Goa and Karnataka are buyers of the material, dispatches of which have started taking place.
