Eramet’s manganese ore production rises over 17%, y-o-y, in Q1CY’22

Central Africa-based Eramet, the second-largest producer of high-grade manganese ore globally, recorded a 17% y-o-y growth in production at around 1.8 mnt in Q1CY’22. Meanwhile, the company’s manganese alloys production stood at 0.19 mnt, a marginal drop of 3% y-o-y owing to the surge in alloys prices despite decrease in sales, sources informed.
