The SMS Group has been chosen by Jindal Stainless Ltd. (JSL) to build a new blast furnace at is Jajpur facility in Odisha. The BF will have production capacity of 2 mnt of hot metal per year and will serve existing downstream steelmaking facilities as well as future ones. The commissioning of the new plant is expected by the end of 2023.
