Vietnamese integrated steel major Hoa Phat achieved VND 44 trillion ($1.91 billion) revenue in Q1CY22, while PAT stood at around VND 8.2 trillion ($386 million), as per the company’s press release. Both revenue and PAT increased by 41% and 17% y-o-y respectively. The steel producer sold around 2.17 mnt of long products during this period, up 12% y-o-y. The company has a crude steel production capacity of over 8 mnt per year.
