- Prices of domestic 304 grade stainless steel scrap fell by INR 3,000/t today, while 316 grade scrap prices stayed firm against 21 Apr’22.
- The effective prices of 304 grade scrap are at INR 189,000/t ($/t) and 316 grade scrap prices are at INR 289,000/t ($/t) exy Delhi.
- Muted demand for 300 series scrap from North India-based manufacturers and lower demand for 201 and 430 scrap from western-India based IF mills led to a correction in scrap prices, as per sources.
