India: Hindalco, Balco lower aluminium ingots prices by INR 11,250/t ($147/t)

Hindalco and Balco reduced primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 11,250/t ($147/t) today, as against 21 Apr’22, as per company reports.
Hindalco’s effective price is at INR 272,500/t ($3,562/t) exw, while Balco’s price stands at INR 275,000/t ($3,594/t) exw.
The three-month LME aluminum contract price was recorded at $3,163/t yesterday, down $82/t as against $3,245/t the previous trading day.
